They also provide information about first aid and answer any questions people might have. There is also a demonstration, featuring CPR with the help of reanimation mannequins and other accessories.
Lectures
Approximately 15 courses are expected to take place in one student year. The course is divided into a theoretical and practical part, together lasting four hours. The theoretical part is carried out by a qualified physician, specialized in pre-hospital medical care. The lecture program is based on current standards; PowerPoint slides ensure quality and com
parison of different courses, disregarding the instructor. The instructors take part in the practical part of the lectures. The participants are divided into 4 basic groups, and attend the following lectures: CPR with the use of automated external defibrillator (AED), a variety of different grips, positions of the injured, immobilization and caretaking of larger wounds. After the demonstration, instructors encourage participants to try the techniques for themselves under their guiance and also point out possible mistakes. The instructors also answer any question the participants might have; that is why a doctor is also present at the practical part of lectures.
Internal courses
At least 2 such courses are held per year in the form of a seminar, where new discoveries in first aid medicine are presented. Internal evaluation of the participants’ response is made and different techniques of approach to the participants are being discussed by the instructors.
Motivation weekend
is held once per year. An organization group and a group of instructors gather in order to exchange experiences and evaluate the projects’ execution. Courses are also being held: they include first aid courses for instructors; new guidelines in the area of first; sociological courses, regarding approach techniques for diff

Also, organizational meetings (fundraising, public relations, logistic support, general management of the project) and meetings between instructor groups and their leaders (feedback, improvement suggestions, courses, suggestions regarding new resources, quality improvement) take place. The purpose of motivational weekends is social integration, exchange of opinions and experiences, critical evaluation of the project and improvement of relations among the participants. Courses are being held by different experts (doctors, sociologists, psychologists).
